My name is Sarah and I can’t wait to meet your beloved cats and kittens! I’ll love and take care of yours as if they’re my own. I've been caring for cats and kittens in the Austin area for 8 years, including being a foster for the Austin Animal Center. I’ve earned the trust of repeat clients, and I've had many overnight cat sitting jobs - including one household with 3 cats and 1 kitten! You and your felines will be provided a loving, caring and patient service with attention to the littlest details. I take my shoes off at the door. I have a special hand vacuum I like to use (only if it won't scare your cat) to eliminate most cat hair. All of the litter boxes will be refreshed, because I always scoop litter boxes and take waste out to the bin daily. I even bring my own waste bags just in case. I'm also not opposed to working overtime if your kitty seems to need a little extra love and attention. When you arrive home, your house will be clean. Your kitties might also seem a little tuckered out from all the good play time we'll have! Having Sarah as a cat sitter was a great experience for me and my cat! Athena is normally shy around new people but immediately took a liking to Sarah. Sarah went above and beyond in taking care of Athena providing emotional support to a lonely cat needing attention and offering to change out the litter when needed. Sarah provided daily updates with pictures and videos of them becoming best friends. I felt very at ease about Athena while I was traveling knowing that she was in good hands.

I’m leaving this review based on the two times I’ve hired Sarah, because I was not able to review the first time. Sarah was excellent in a long-term overnight stay capacity with my two elderly kittens, one of whom needs love all the time in the other one is a little more standoffish. Also, one cat had to be taken regularly to the vets for fluids. I I also hired Sarah for a last minute one day gig, and she was great, and got back to me right away. In both cases she had excellent communication and asked a fair number of questions so I knew she was taking the job very seriously which is important when these are your babies which is how I think of them.

Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.

We know every kitty is different and that's why we offer tailored, in-home services since cats don't do well outside their own homes.
