Cat Sitting in Austin, TX

I have never not had a cat (or two) in my life! I grew up with cats at my parents' house out in the country, where we always had at least two, plus some litters of kittens. Growing up, I remember spending days "kitten gettin" with my mum, kissing bellies and watching them play together.

I currently own my own cat (Kat) and I've had her for 8 years. She was a rescue situation where someone had abandoned her as a kitten, and when she came to me I had to bottle feed her, give her baths, and teach her to use the litter box... I have never not had a cat (or two) in my life! I grew up with cats at my parents' house out in the country, where we always had at least two, plus some litters of kittens. Growing up, I remember spending days "kitten gettin" with my mum, kissing bellies and watching them play together.

I currently own my own cat (Kat) and I've had her for 8 years. She was a rescue situation where someone had abandoned her as a kitten, and when she came to me I had to bottle feed her, give her baths, and teach her to use the litter box. She has some major attitude, but I love her nonetheless! While I grew up having indoor/outdoor cats, I prefer to keep her inside since I am a little bit of a helicopter cat mum!

I am also the go-to cat sitter for my friends any time they go out of town because I put the same energy into other people's cats as I do my own. I know the importance of finding someone you can trust to keep your baby safe!

Outside of being a cat lover, my full time job is working as a Human Resources Business Partner for a Supply Chain company. I love helping people as much as I love helping cats. My work schedule is fortunately very flexible, so there will be times that I can be available during work hours, but evenings are fine too. I am available to service most of South Austin.

Angelina was absolutely perfect! I cannot overstate how much we enjoyed having her care for our cats. She took such good care of our two cats and made fast friends with our super shy boy. She sent timely, detailed messages every day with amazing photos. We joked that the best part of our honeymoon was getting updates from Angelina. I want to plan another vacation just so our cats can hang out with Agnelina again! Beyond perfect!

As always Angelina was reliable, enthusiastic, and loved by my cat! She always adapts to playing or pets depending on my kitty's mood. She leaves his food, water and litter areas cleaner than she found them and sends lots of pictures and detailed updates.

Angelina was an excellent sitter for our kitties while we were away over two separate weekends. She provided thorough updates with pics and videos and took perfect care of our kiddos. She even brought a few packages inside that arrived during the visit (even one that was extra heavy) which we greatly appreciated. Both cats warmed up to her and our girl cat would even watch for her each evening and sat on her lap during the visit. I would definitely recommend Angelina!

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Austin cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
