What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Each cat is unique and have different needs for their care. I love getting to meet all kinds of cats, personalities, and energies. Cats can often be misunderstood, but I think they just need a special type of care and person to take care of them.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two kitties at home - Margarita is my first baby, then I have Griswold who is my newest cat!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

When working with a new cat parent or client, I get all the necessary care information either in writing or through text. Then I try to schedule a meet & greet if possible to get to know the cat before in their home where they are comfortable. Once we see that we are a good match, the client and I can then discuss any care/home instructions. During visits I make sure to send lots of photos, updates, and questions.

This was a very easy process. I was looking for a new cat sitter and found Meowtel. I had a choice of sitters and chose Alexandrea. We met a few days after my reservation. I liked Lexi immediately and she got to meet all 3 cats. I immediately booked another short sit before the original. she came during my preferred times, fed the cats, gave lots of pets, and she sent me pics. She texted me when she had questions. She also brought in my mail and my trash cans. Above and Beyond‼️My guys were happy campers when I got home. can’t recommend her enough. Thanks, Lexi‼️

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
