What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have references going back to 2002 for cat sitting and working in client’s homes. I have owned cats my whole life and understand cats better than any other creature. And now I have clients from Meowtel to confirm I am legit and love my clients and their cat(s).

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most about cat sitting is cats are funny and they all are super easy to understand once you know their personality. They are fun to be around even the finicky ones are fun to be get to know and care for.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite cat reservation is when I have multiple cats in the house. One is frisky and one is shy. The girl kitty wants to stay under the bed but I got her to trust me and pet her. She has a cute quiet meow and is super soft. The other cat is a boy and he is big like a Bob cat. He likes to play and eat his can food. Climb his tower and be the king cat. Overlooking his kingdom. They are a funny bunch.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Chestnut is my girl cats name. She is a rescue from Paws Shelter and she is my frisky, soft short queen. She feels safe with me. I’ve had to deal with her urinary tract issues so she has filtered water and uti preventative food. She is a very important part of our family.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

My advise is to give me as much information about the cat(s) so I can give them the best care and understand their feline. All cats are special to me. I understand them and talk to them.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I get to know the cat and sit quietly with the shy ones and blink slowly so they know I love them and give the best care.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I am congnicent of the doors being shut if the cat can’t go outside and I make sure the home is safe.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes I can be available for holidays. Just need notification so I can prepare. I have a young family but am mostly always in town.

What is your favorite cat toy?

My favorite cat toy is the string attached with feathers, springs are fun too! Most cats go crazy for it or the ball or mouse that wiggles on its own.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I sit quietly with them and speak sweetly to the shy ones and let them know their parents sent me to love and care for them. They can be themselves and I’m patient. I get their fav food or treats and tell the cat their parents sent me and will be back soon.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
