I am currently doing an online masters program so I can be very flexible with my availability. I have been a cat mom for almost two years, and I have a real passion for these purr-fect little angels ❤️
Your cat’s safety is of upmost importance to me. I will make sure your cat is comfortable and happy, and will do my best to learn the boundaries that your cat sets. While I do not currently have too much experience with cat sitting, I take this responsibility very seriously. I know what it’s like to be a cat parent and how our cats mean the absolute world to us.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy getting to know each cat and finding ways to connect with the cat. Every cat has their own unique personality and it’s very interesting to discover.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I am a mom to a beautiful little lynx point cat named Flora! I adopted her almost two years ago in Salt Lake City and she is my first and currently only cat. She is my universe ❤️
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I make sure to follow the instructions given to me by the owner. I will supervise cats when they are playing with toys and make sure to feed them and scoop their litter. I will also make sure fresh water is available to the cat at all times.

Meiling was awesome! She took care of my cats, Luna and Isabella, for two weeks while I was away. Before my trip, she took the time to meet them, and they both immediately approved of her. We did a walkthrough of the house where I showed her their favorite spots, possible hiding places, and any potential hazards. My cats are healthy and don’t require medication or a special diet, but Meiling was very attentive and made sure they were well cared for. She even went out of her way to take care of the Litter-Robot when the litter level got low. Throughout my trip, I felt confident that Luna and Isabella were in good hands. I came home to two happy, healthy cats, and I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. I would highly recommend Meiling to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and trustworthy to care for their pets.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Austin cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!
