Lauren did an amazing job taking care of my boy Zeus while I was out of town. From the very first day of the meet and greet, Zeus took an instant liking to Lauren. He approached her to say hello without any hesitation at all. I felt so much more at ease knowing my cat was comfortable with Lauren while I was out of town. He doesn’t usually come out to greet people, so I knew it was a good sign when he initially approached her to say hello. Lauren went above and beyond my expectations. Followed all instructions without issue. She fed Zeus multiple times a day, cleaned and left the litterbox spotless, cleaned/topped off the water fountain, sat with him and brushed him every day, and played with him with his favorite bird toy so he got his daily exercise in. Lauren even brought in a few packages that arrived while I was away. I also received regular updates/photos from every one of her visits. Seeing my cat on a daily bases via photos and daily updates was extremely helpful. Zeus looked like he really enjoyed the attention and care Lauren provided him. Plus as an added bonuses, everything was so clean and tidy when I got home. I can’t recommend Lauren enough for anyone looking for a reliable cat sitter. I’d definitely hire Lauren again next time I go out of town knowing that I’m leaving my Zeus in excellent hands. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Lauren was truly wonderful. She kept our three kittos happy, healthy and very engaged for the 10 days we were gone. She asked good questions and had clear common-sense when it came to anything unexpected. Her updates were thorough and we enjoyed watching how she was getting to see, understand and enjoy our cats personalities as they became fast friends with her. Lauren was an amazing cat sitter for me. It was an uncommonly chaotic weekend and Lauren was patient with my crazy schedule. And my very social cat, Logan, who has many special needs including blindness and kidney problems, seemed so well cared for and so happy when I returned home. I can tell just from his behavior that he was extremely well taken care of. Beyond all that Lauren sent amazing pictures and updates. Highly recommend, all around. Lauren came to visit our cat and kept things very simple with ample playtime. Our cat tends to be quite shy with strangers, but Lauren used a gentle way to coax our cat to come out of her shell, and was rewarded with treats. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.

Austin cat sitting rates will vary based on the pet sitter's experience and expertise, but the average price for a cat sitter is $31.00. Prices will also depend on how long your cat needs company for, whether that be a drop-in visit or overnight stay in your home. Meowtel sitters offer 20, 45, and 60-minute drop-in visits that allow for fully tailored care for your kitties. Your caregiver may also need to charge a little more if they have to travel far, so we'll match you with the best options which are close by.
