When Iām caring for your companions I do my best to stick to your (theirs) regular feeding schedule and other than that, I keep it pretty simple. I maintain the litter box, provide new water every visit, administer any medications if needed, take a proof of life pic and then I sit back and let them come to me, if they want... Heeeyyyy! Iām Nicci! I have loved and cared for cats literally my entire life. I understand greatly the comfort cats need to be in their own homes and also, letās be real, itās not so easy to pick up/cage a cat and itās things, travel with them, and place them in a new environment.
When Iām caring for your companions I do my best to stick to your (theirs) regular feeding schedule and other than that, I keep it pretty simple. I maintain the litter box, provide new water every visit, administer any medications if needed, take a proof of life pic and then I sit back and let them come to me, if they want. I always check for hairballs, throw up, and retaliatory āaccidentsā around the house and clean them up when found.
My primary concern is the comfort and well being of your companion but I can also maintain any domestic schedules that may need to be kept up with like bringing in the mail, taking out the trash/recycling, watering plants, or any other cycles you may regularly upkeep.
Iām attentative to your companion and I can read feline body language well. I have cared for a variety of personalities and can manage them all. Like, letās say, maybe you have a ādifficultā cat, maybe heās one who doesnāt like others and might even get a little aggressive? I can care for him, Iām confident I can!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Cats are individually unique and they donāt immediately love everyone who walks into their home. I love learning who they are and gaining their trust if I need to.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am! I work in the central Texas area between Georgetown ā San Antonio and as far as canyon lake to bastrop and I can be available for holidays if booked in advanced!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I have cared for many timid/ territorial/ anxious/ aggressive companions before. Mainly, I donāt force myself onto your companion and I give them all the space they need for them to feel comfortable with me, all on their own. Some cats never do warm up to me, even after multiple sittings, and thatās okay! Iām there to make sure they get food and water, their environment is clean and how it should be, and they are alive and well. They donāt have to like me, I donāt take it personally.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
