What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting a few of my friends cats for the past year! I have taken care of both super shy cats and very outgoing cats, so I feel comfortable with various personalities.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love spending time with all of the cats I meet and getting to know their unique personalities and preferences. Whether a cat wants quiet company on the couch or wants to play and run across the room, I am happy to be there and provide whatever they need to feel the most comfortable. Each cat is so different, but all of them are incredibly sweet, so I am happy to be a small part in their life!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite cat sitting experience was with a shy tabby cat named Cleo. When I first came in, she hid under her owners bed for about 20 minutes. I wanted to give her a ton of space and allow her to come to me, so I sat on the couch quietly for a while. All of a sudden I heard a loud “meowww” and there she was, standing on the couch, finally feeling confident enough to greet me. Her and I took it slow, but she quickly became more comfortable with me and even sat and played with me for a while. This memory sticks out to me because I felt like she announced her presence with that loud and sudden meow, which always makes me giggle wheneve i think back to it.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our Meowtel Protection Plan in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
