Cat Sitting in Watertown, MA

My love of cats started in 2011, when I adopted my first cat and my whole life changed. That cat is now 18 (and currently sitting on my lap) and has helped me find a deep love for animals. I became a shelter volunteer shortly after I adopted him and specialized in cat care and adoptions. 364 days after my first cat’s adoption, I took home my second cat. She is now 13.

When I moved back to the Boston area in 2013, finding a cat organization to volunteer with was my top priority. I started volunteering with Broken Tail Rescue in 2013 and these days I oversee our entire cat adoption center operation in the Fresh Pond Petsmart in Cambridge. Cat behavior and helping people find the “right cat” have become my specialties and I have cared for thousands of cats over the years... However, I have learned the most from Warren and Kelly (my cats). Both have irritable bowel disease, Warren has food allergies and separation anxiety, Kelly has a cleft palate and seasonal allergies, and both take pills every day. I can administer meds confidently and pay attention to the important details of your cat’s care. I know what it is like to want an experienced cat sitter to come take care of your furry family members as well as you do. For you, I can be that person. I love cats, plain and simple.

Besides being a dedicated cat mom and committed volunteer, I am a small business owner. I am a Garden Consultant and I help people who want to grow food at home achieve that goal. I am also an Animal Communicator and a brand advocate for a clean beauty company. I build my own schedule and have plenty of flexibility. But enough about me….I am looking forward to meeting you and your kitties in the near future!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
