A bit about me: I grew up in CA with 6 cats at home, as well as some strays. I've spent time volunteering in animal shelters and both my parents work in veterinary medicine... 🐾Hi all! My name is Frankie, I'm a college student living in the East Harlem studying art :) I am very outgoing and have a flexible schedule. I'm willing to visit at whatever time of day suits your kitties best!

A bit about me: I grew up in CA with 6 cats at home, as well as some strays. I've spent time volunteering in animal shelters and both my parents work in veterinary medicine. I was never NOT around cats, I love them!
Because of my experience I know what to look out for when it comes to health as well as how to maintain a low stress environment for cats. I treat each kitty with lots of love, care, and patience. (Have I mentioned they're my favorite animal?)
I have the energy to give kittens all the playtime they want! I'm very comfortable with shy cats and move at their pace.
💊For seniors and special needs with medication I take care to make the process as stress free as possible.
Since I moved out I've been missing my fur babies, so cat sitting for me means filling in some much needed cat time plus a side hustle that works with my school schedule :)

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
We have two beautiful foster boys named Liam and Tonky, as well as Ms Kitty. Ms K, previously "Mama Kitty" was a stray who we found over a decade ago pregnant. After homing all of her babies we took her inside and she is now the high-maintenance queen of the house!
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love watching my kitties bat a tiny fabric mouse around the house. Their favorite though is kicking the catnip banana!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Patience, food, toys, and most importantly moving at the cat's pace. I always tell people wait for the cat to come to you. Mind body language, both yours and the cats!

Frankie has done a spectacular job caring for our cats over the years. We recieved adorable videos and photos, and daily updates on how they ate, their moods, and they were even able to get some lap time with our anxious kitty! Frankie is very communicative. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

New York cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
