What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

My biggest advice is to find someone who really understands that every cat is different. It’s not just about feeding or checking in, it’s about connecting with your cat on their terms and making them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Look for a sitter who’s calm, reliable, and patient, and who genuinely loves cats. Trust your gut, ask lots of questions, and don’t be afraid to ask for references or meet-and-greets. Your cat’s happiness and peace of mind should always come first.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

When I start working with a new cat parent, I like to have a detailed chat to learn about their cat’s personality, routine, likes, and any special needs. Every cat is unique, so understanding what makes them feel comfortable and happy is key. I also ask about their preferences for communication: for example how often they want updates and what kind of info they’d like. Before the first visit, I try to schedule a meet-and-greet so the cat and I can get familiar with each other in a calm, low-pressure way. This helps build trust and makes the transition smoother for everyone.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
