In addition to being a pet owner myself, I have over three years of catsitting experience... Welcome to my page! I'm an Austin-based cat "meowm" of two tabbies who would love to care for your precious kitties while you're away. I know how stressful it can be to leave your fur babies at home when you travel, and I'm here to take the best care of your cats and put your mind at ease so you can enjoy your trip 😸.
In addition to being a pet owner myself, I have over three years of catsitting experience. I enjoy meeting each new cat, learning their personalities, and keeping them healthy, comfortable, and entertained while their parents are away. What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I started cat-sitting for friends about 3 years ago, and loved it! That experience prompted me to apply to sit for Meowtel, and I've really enjoyed the opportunities to meet all sorts of cats and cat people since. In addition to cat-sitting and my two kitties at home, I also recently fostered a couple adorable shelter kittens. Getting them socialized and healthy enough to adopt out to their forever homes has been an incredibly rewarding way to give back.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I get satisfaction from giving cat parents peace of mind while traveling, knowing their kitties are well-taken care of while they're gone. Additionally, I love getting to know new cats and figuring out their personalities and quirks!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I let the cat set the frequency and pace of our interactions. Especially when we're just getting to know each other, I will sit on the floor and let them approach me, speaking to them in a soft, soothing voice. I offer a hand for them to check out if they're curious. Cats go at their own pace and sometimes it just takes time. I never rush a hesitant kitty and just trust that with time, they'll get more comfortable with me.

I’m usually a little anxious leaving them, but Robyn’s professionalism, reliability, and genuine love for animals gave me total peace of mind. Robyn was lovely and kind. She set up a FaceTime meeting during a time that worked for both of us prior to accepting to make sure it was a good fit (which I definitely appreciate!) Max and Ari were so happy to have her there and my building is challenging to enter at times but Robyn took care to make sure she could get in and everything was seamless. Robyn was my cat-sitter for my first ever reservation on Meowtel. I had to leave my one-year old gray kitten for five days and Robyn took great care of him! She is professional, communicative, and very caring. She sent me daily updates and photos and took careful notes about my cat’s behavior, needs, and feeding routine. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Austin cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
