Our cat is also quite skittish and needs a lot of patience. Jannet was very kind and took time to get to know her, and she even sent photos to document their time together. I’ve never used Meowtel before and it was a first for me to hand over my key to a stranger, but the experience was wonderful! "I’m so thankful I found Elizabeth to watch my two gals! First and foremost, she was quick to book my relatively last minute request. She took notes and asked questions at our meet and greet. Her updates included all status updates on things like the litterbox, auto feeder updates, water fountain, wet food, etc. As well as lots of sweet video updates of how their visits were. I could tell how happy my cats were, not only by seeing them in her video updates but, listening to how she respected both of my cats’ different boundaries (one’s a bit sassier and one’s a bit more skittish) made me feel so at ease as a helicopter pet parent. I was out of the country for a week and never had to worry about them. On top of that, she watered my many patio plants, was super communicative on where mail/packages/etc ended up, and took trash/recycle out! Last, but not least, she left a very kind “Thank You” note where I could tell that my cats were taken very well care of with how she spoke of each of them. I hope I never have to find a different cat sitter! Thank you, Elizabeth!!"

"Here’s a fun, warm review that keeps the tone light while highlighting everything Anita did well: Another fantastic experience with Anita! She took great care of our famously antisocial Maine Coon, Cat Stevens, while we were away from Tuesday through Saturday. Anyone who has met our cat knows she considers “making friends” to be a character flaw, so the fact that Anita was able to track her down every day for food, water, and general wellness checks deserves some kind of detective’s badge. This visit included a couple of surprise hairball/vomiting incidents (because apparently our cat wanted to keep things interesting), and Anita handled them without missing a beat. She also brought in our packages, kept us updated with excellent communication, and let us know exactly how each visit went. We never had to wonder how things were going because her updates were detailed, thoughtful, and reassuring. Most importantly, we completely trust Anita with our home and with Cat Stevens. The lack of affection from our furry little diva says absolutely nothing about Anita and everything about our cat’s personality. If Cat Stevens ever voluntarily sat in a sitter’s lap, we’d probably schedule her for a veterinary exam. Anita is cheerful, dependable, communicates exceptionally well, and clearly cares about the pets she watches. She quickly initiated his care, was able to start him on his insulin as directed, monitored him closely, and kept us updated every step of the way with videos, pictures, and thoughtful communication. Knowing he was in such capable hands made an incredibly stressful situation so much easier to navigate from afar. She truly went above and beyond, not only meeting their daily needs but giving them extra love and attention that was obvious when we returned home. Taking care of Cat Stevens is a somewhat unusual cat-sitting assignment because she hides whenever we’re gone. So instead of getting to spend time playing with or cuddling a cat, Laura essentially had the job of caring for a phantom. She would arrive at a quiet, apparently cat-free house, scoop the litter box, replace yesterday’s empty food plate with a fresh one, check the water, and leave—only to return the next day and discover that the food had magically disappeared. For someone who loves cats, I imagine it’s not the most exciting or rewarding assignment! Nevertheless, Laura treated every visit with the same care and attention. She followed our instructions closely, showed up exactly when we asked her to, and sent us photos every single day of Cat Stevens’ food, water, and litter box so we knew she was eating, drinking, and being well cared for. "We have worked with Carrie a few times but this was our first long reservation with her (10 days). Everything went smoothly, my cats Lola and Laurel both have pre existing health conditions (well under control but can be exacerbated by stress) and Carrie monitored them closely for potential signs and symptoms. One day Laurel started having some unusual litter box issues (it was not clear if she was developing urinary symptoms, which she is prone to, or if she was constipated) and Carrie immediately brought those issues to our attention. We were able to troubleshoot together, thankfully it was nothing serious and Carrie was able to pay our cats an additional visit that same day to give them extra attention and to make sure Laurel was feeling better. We were hugely reassured and very grateful for her attentiveness and availability. In addition, I was positively surprised by how easy it was to book an additional visit for the same day on the fly on the Meowtel portal, I had never needed to do that before. We were thrilled to be able to work with Carrie again, the peace of mind she was able to give us while we were on vacation was unparalleled and we look forward to working with her in the future. Last but certainly not least, Lola and Laurel were head over heels for Carrie, we got lots and lots of adorable purrs and cuddles videos, which made us so happy! Thank you Carrie!"

As soon as we met Chloe, it was obvious that she had great cat-energy and understanding. During our trip, she was incredibly thorough and thoughtful, immediately taking care of little things we hadn't even considered and giving us a play-by-play of her visits. By the second day, it was obvious our babies were in great hands and every new check-in was just pure joy at being able to see their little faces in the photos she took. As advertised, Chloe left us a little watercolor painting that is going to be framed and put up on the wall ASAP. Finding a new catsitter can be very stressful, and finding Chloe has been a huge relief. We'll be booking her from here on out!! All three of our cats give her two beans up :)"

I'm a nervous cat mom, this was a long trip, and I have a slightly complicated pride (5 cats that have to exist in three separate zones, with some challenging personalities, one very old and frail, etc). Jason just managed everything with ease, sent wonderful videos of each kitty, each day, plus detailed reports. And one day we had an electrical issue at the house and Jason capably was reset what was needed to get things working again. As a wonderful bonus, everything was cleaner than when we left! "Denise was absolutely exceptional as our cat sitter. We’ve worked with her previously for drop-in visits, but this was our first time having her stay overnight, and it made a tremendous difference in our peace of mind while we were away. One of our cats, Colby, has chronic kidney disease and requires a very specific care routine, including subcutaneous fluids, medication, and a specialized diet. Denise handled all of this with confidence and expertise, clearly drawing from her veterinary/med tech background. She was also extremely thoughtful in managing the different dietary needs of both of our cats, ensuring everything was done correctly and consistently. Our other cat can be a bit more particular with new people, but Denise was incredibly patient, intuitive, and respectful of his personality—something we truly appreciated. It’s clear she has a natural ability to read and connect with animals. Throughout the stay, Denise provided excellent communication and updates, which gave us a lot of reassurance. We also came home to a spotless house and two very happy, well-cared-for cats. We trust Denise completely in our home and with our pets, and we will absolutely continue working with her.
