I have two cats, Luna and Leo. Luna is a calico with a sassy, opinionated personality. She’s chatty and always wants to be involved, but only on her terms. Leo is a white domestic shorthair who’s shy at first, but once he’s comfortable, he’s a lovebug. He will sit as close as possible to me, stare at me intently, and meow nonstop for pets. I love how distinct each of their personalities are, but at the end of the day, they both want my love and attention, just in their own styles.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I like to start with a meet and greet to learn about their cat’s unique personality, routine, and preferences. I ask how their cat usually behaves when they’re away and review vet and emergency information in detail. This helps me understand what’s normal for that cat and what might be cause for concern. I also outline a clear care plan, including emergency steps, so everyone is on the same page. Additionally, I like to outline the communication preference while they are away. I communicate as much or as little as the pet parent prefers, providing regular updates or giving them space to enjoy their time away.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I have a special place in my heart for anxious kitties. I pay close attention to body language and their communication. I like to sit with them to feel their energy and let them set the pace for how each interaction will go. I find that patience and peaceful energy go a long way. Once I earn their trust and love, it’s the best feeling in the world.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
