Hello pawrents and kitties! My name is Ariel, and I have been called the Cat Whisperer. I take pride in making sure your furry friends are well taken care of and treated like family, because they are.

I love the personalities of cats. Every one is different, and their funny quirks bring me joy. I also enjoy finding out their different love languages: whether that is staring at you in the corner in a loaf, or snuggling up to you so you can rub their belly and purring. I have a very good reputation with shy cats, and I feel honored that they regard me as acceptable in their books.

I have previous experience in giving liquid medication and pills to kitties and am a clean litterbox advocate. I have previously given liquid medication in food and water, and I am an expert at hiding pills in food. My efforts have helped kitties deal with UTIs, routine care, and other various ailments. Plus, I’m pretty good at figuring out if something seems off with your furry friend.

I am an actor and freelance makeup artist by day, but those paths just don’t give me the satisfaction of being with and caring for animals. Nothing can compare to a good purr or head butt, in my opinion!

I give regular kitty updates to clients in addition to adorable pictures. Communication is so important, and it can help make everyone feel better. And besides, who doesn’t love giving their cat a mini photo shoot?!

A few fun facts about me: I am a plant mom, and I love to cook and bake. I also, like most cats, love a chill night inside watching a movie and snuggling. I really enjoy classic rock/pop music, especially on vinyl. I am also a Taurus, for those interested in zodiac signs.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love learning each cat’s specific quirks and personalities. Each of my clients are such individuals, and they all make me smile and laugh in different ways!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I have so many clients that I adore, but my favorites have to be Lady, Beverly, and Charlie. Lady lives with her dads and is a plump orange tabby with quite a lot to say and loves playing fetch! I visited her over Christmas, and she was thrilled with her new mouse toys to catch. Beverly is a little void whose love languages are aggressive head butts and screaming at you for food. She is such a sweet girl, and we rang in the new year together! And finally, Charlie. He is just the best cat: loving, gentle, polite, and playful. He tolerates his little puppy sister so well, but he knows how to put her in her place at the same time!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I treat your home like it is my own. I always make sure to lock up when I’m in the apartment or heading out. Plus, I have watchful eyes and ears so I can spot or sound out anything suspicious from a ways away!

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am usually available during the holidays! It takes a bit of juggling between my cosmetic retail work and other pet sitting, but I make it all work so I don’t compromise care of anyone!

Ariel was amazing. She took really great care of our cats! She also made sure to engage with our cats and spend time with them. I can tell by the photos our cats were happy to see her, even the shy one. She also took our packages and mail up, which was greatly appreciated! Would rebook again!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
