I am experienced with cats of all temperaments, cuddly or independent, shy or working on behavior. I will follow all instructions to make sure they are comfortable and interacted with in the ways they enjoy. I would love to know what toys and petting spots they enjoy the most, or if they have certain boundaries with touch or interaction so I can make them to feel loved while you’re away. I’ll be sure to send you thorough updates, including photo, so you can get a dose of their love from afar... I have been a cat lover, adopter, foster, rescuer, and sitter for 10+ years in NYC. I know how important it is to know your kitty(ies) is well-loved while you’re away, and I would be thrilled to do that for you and them!

I have professional experience with Best Friends and Bidawee, including as Adoption Counselor and Foster Coordinator! I am well versed with medical emergencies, signs of illness and stress & what constitutes excellent caregiving. I can administer any oral or topical medications with no extra cost! I have also volunteered with local animal welfare organizations like the Animal Project, Purrfect Cats & Little Wanderers in NYC for 6+ years as a cat care giver and foster. I have adopted and fostered cats of all ages and medical needs.
I am knowledgeable, reliable, passionate about cats, and trustworthy. I live in Washington Heights, am pursuing my doctorate in MidTown East, and can come to you anywhere nearby or along the the 1/A/C&L trains in Manhattan. Beyond food, water, litter scooping, sweeping, playing, medication and loving according to your instructions, I’m also happy to do light housekeeping like plant watering, bringing in packages, and taking out cat-related trash so you return to a well kept home.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

New York cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
