Over the years, I’ve cared for cats of all ages and personalities, from playful tabbies to shy and skiddish adults. I’ve even rescued and nursed kittens back to health... Hi, fellow cat parents! I’m currently a law student in NYC and a lifelong cat lover. I’ve been living with cats since the day I was born and was introduced to my childhood kitty, Mishu. With an incredibly demanding academic schedule, spending time with kitties is something that has truly helped me unwind, reduce stress, and feel grounded. Being around kitties brings me a sense of calm and comfort, and I truly value every opportunity I get to care for them.
Over the years, I’ve cared for cats of all ages and personalities, from playful tabbies to shy and skiddish adults. I’ve even rescued and nursed kittens back to health. As a result, I am very comfortable and attuned to reading cat behavior and adapting to each cat’s unique needs and energy levels.
I currently have my own son, a ragdoll/British shorthair mix I call my little void, so I completely understand how important it is to have a trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring individual to look after your kitty.
I am very flexible and will adjust according to you and your kitties needs, so I offer both overnight stays and drop-in visits depending on what your cat is most comfortable with. I will make sure all essentials are handled (feeding, fresh water, litter box care), but I will always take the time to give affection and play if your cat is in the mood!
I treat every kitty like my own and prioritize their comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. I’m incredibly reliable, attentive, and truly happiest when carding for cats, so I’d love to meet your kitty!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have over 10 years of cat sitting experience as I’ve been cat sitting for my neighbors and family friends since I was 13 years old.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes, I have my own cat, Mark, that I adopted here in New York while in law school, but I also have two kitties back home on the west coast named Ferguson (Gus) and Moo!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When working with a new cat parent I will typically ask them the baseline temperament and attitude of their kitty, along with any particular behavioral activities that I should be aware about so that I can be vigilant of any particular shifts from their usual behavioral patterns and communicate them to the cat parent.

This was my first time using this app and I HIGHLY recommend Angelina!! She really made me feel better about leaving my cat alone and comfortable with her watching him. She came a few days before for a meet and greet, was super friendly, wanted to know the ins and outs of my cats daily needs, and was so easy to talk to. She texted me every day with pictures and was extremely responsive. Honestly she took really great care of my cat and I truly couldn’t recommend her enough. Will 100% being using her again. Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

New York cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
