I love cats, I foster cats as my volunteer work and I am really great with shy cats, it’s kinda my specialty. Cats warmed up to me quickly because I am very patient with them. What to expect when you book with me:
Full attention to your cat(s). Daily videos/pics of your kitties, report on their food/poop habit if anything is out of the ordinary. Cleaning litter box, refresh food and water. Plenty of play and pets depending on your cat needs. I fully respect your privacy and will leave your home as if you never left it. I can offer mail and package retrieval and indoor plants watering as well.
Locations and Availability:
I can be anywhere in the Manhattan(ex) Midtown, Union Square, East Village, West Village, Lower Manhattan, FiDi) and certain Brooklyn area(ex) Williamsburg, Downtown Brooklyn - please message me during busy holiday season to see if that's an area that I service.
What to expect for each durations:
45mins is a very popular choice, best for bonding with solo, shy or active cats. This is great for cats that needs more attention, such as weighting/measuring food, multiple supplement/medication needs or with multiple cats.
20mins - more straightforward situation, with 1 or 2 cats that does not have much special needs. With some kind of auto feeder or auto litter box.
60mins - great for cat(s) who loves companionship, as well as homes with 3+ cats with multiple litter boxes/extra clean ups.
Overnights - they are a 12 hour guaranteed. This includes a dinner and breakfast in the morning.
Covid Safety:
I have all my shots and 2 boosters for COVID-19. I am comfortable with wearing a mask in your home if that is something you would like! I wash my hands upon entering anyone's home.
I am very excited to meet and get to know your fur babies. Can’t wait to work with you and spend some time with your cat(s).

I had an exceptional experience working with Vivian. Went on a trip for two weeks, the longest I have ever left my cat, and Vivian made sure to take detailed notes during our meet and greet and provide regular updates and videos when I was away. She went above and beyond brushing my cat twice a day and making sure she was active. My cat takes a bit to warm up to new people but she was purring with Vivian after only a day or two which was very reassuring to see. Highly recommend Vivian and look forward to working with her again soon!

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
New York cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Vivian was a great sitter for our cat during a week or so when we were out of town over the holidays. She sent regular updates including pictures & videos, and was proactive in going above the minimum feeding/litterbox, ie asking to clean up spilled litter from the floor. Additionally, when we had some sudden plumbing trouble requiring immediate repairs, she sent very helpful in identifying the issue (letting us know the water was out; she ensured to bring bottled water for our cat on subsequent days) & doing what she could to help destress our cat during the repairs. Overall, Vivian was great & would highly recommend to anyone who needs a sitter!

Vivian was terrific. She stayed at my home for 5 nights caring for my 10 month old Burmese cat Pip. We were so lucky to have Vivian to look after our cat Chili during holidays. She was very communicative and sent daily updates with photos and videos. We didn't have much toys as we just moved in the new place however she brought toys with her to play with Chili. He is usually very shy cat and doesn't get close to strangers but Chili was responsive to Vivian. Definitely recommend it to anyone looks for caring and communicative sitter

If you are worried of leaving your beloved kitty while you are away or worried about a stranger coming into your apartment….I was in the same spot! Until I found Vivian…LOOK NO FURTHER!! She is great: she will take care of your home, and mostly love and take care of your kitty as much as you would do! She takes notes of their habits, creates a routine, brings treats and toys, send updates with photos and videos…just amazing! Our vacation went so much better, knowing that Luna was so well taken care of! They are besties and will definitely work with Vivian again.
