once again, Sarah helped care for my three cats so much that they ignored me when I got home! The true sign of a cat whisperer!

Unfortunately, I honestly don’t know if I could recommend Sarah as a cat sitter. She was very responsive and brought in my packages which was very nice of her. On the other hand, almost every day the updates she sent me were from my own bed. Maybe it’s the New Yorker in me, but a stranger laying (yes, laying down) on my bed with their outside clothes on and potentially shoes makes me uncomfortable, but she was taking care of my cat and had full access to my home so I didn’t feel comfortable saying anything. Additionally, I came home (1 day after her last day of care) to completely empty food and water bowls. I always leave a second big bowl of food and of water out when I travel—that I explicitly told her about, sharing that I worry my cat will not have access to what he needs—and those were empty and bone dry as well. Finally, his litter was everywhere when I returned, not a huge deal, but it was much more than would just be from him jumping from his box. She was observant of my cat and that he had thrown up mid way through my travels which I appreciate, but the lack of boundaries and coming home to 4 completely empty bowls where food and water should be was quite shocking to me. I had never truly felt the need to get a pet camera and monitor my cat’s care while I was away until now.

Sarah was incredible!! My two boys absolutely loved her 😻. She was able to get my shy guy, Meatball, to come out of his shell and made sure he got equal loving, scritches, and treats as his more social brother. Sarah sent amazing photos and gave me super thorough updates. I would HIGHLY recommend booking Sarah to sit your fur children.

Sarah is Kushka's regular sitter - she takes good care of him, genuinely enjoys his company, takes great photos, swift and clear in communicating with us, and ensures our home is safe and secure when she leaves. He's a lot happier when we come back!

This was the second time we had Sarah come take care of our cat, and just as during her first time caring for him, she stayed in close communication with updates. She was so patient with him through his grumpy phase, and somehow convinced him to play with her and to flop over belly up! She always made sure to double-check that he had what he needed. We came home a week later to a happy cat and clean apartment!

Sarah is terrific, the model of what a cat sitter should be. Of course she did all the basic things perfectly: fed them correctly, cleaned the litter, played with them when they were in the mood, and sent me timely and detailed descriptions of how they were doing, all with photographs. But, on top of this, she gave me very good advice on how to improve their diet, the superiority of certain implements for litter cleaning to the ones I have, etc. The truth is that after years of cat-sitting and reading a vast amount of material on the care of domestic felines, Sarah has become a cat expert. An additional point: beyond her thoroughness and knowledge, the thing that really impressed was Sarah's ability to befriend my two cats. This wasn't easy -- one of them is extremely wary of new people and usually hides in a closet when I'm gone, and the other can be a little aggressive with strangers including new cat sitters. Yet, on the very first day Sarah sent me a photo of the two cats, sitting together (something they never do with me) and watching her with quiet curiosity. By the next day, Sarah and my cats and become friends. And when, after 5 days, I arrived home, I found both cats calm and less stressed than they ever have been before after my trips. In sum, Sarah is not your ordinary cat sitter. I can’t imagine I would rather have caring for Gertie and Gus when I’m away.

This was my first time leaving my cat alone, and Sarah gave me so much peace of mind! She was also attentive to the small details about my space and cat care routine :) wil l definetely book with her next time :)
