Hello! My name is Camille, and I'm the proud mother of a Bombay cat named Felix! He's my pride and joy! I rescued him from a busy street when he was 6 weeks and we've been inseparable ever since.
I'm currently a news producer, and I've always loved animals since I was a child! In college, I was a pre-vet major before switching to journalism, so I've worked with and studied all types of animals! When my schedule allows, I volunteer at animal shelters and donate to animal rescue non-profits.
I used to live with my sister, who has three beautiful cats, so I'm no stranger to caring for multi-cat households.
It would be an honor to care for your fur baby! I'm very particular about how my Felix is cared for, so I’ll dedicate that same level of love and respect to your cat!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I'm very protective of my cat, Felix and I've had sitters in the past who I felt weren't as attentive. Because of this, I know what it takes to go the extra mile. I believe it fully being present with cats by playing with them!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have a 5-year-old cat named Felix who I rescued from a busy intersection near my parent's home. I love him so much and I literally see him as my child!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I typically stay in the city during the holidays so I'm usually available to help watch your fur babies!
What is your favorite cat toy?
String and feathers! My cat loves them and so does my sister's cats! I've had lots of success using them both with my cat clients!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Cats are very independent and strong willed! I believe in not pushing them or forcing them to warm up. They will do so on their own! But giving them some treats goes a long way!

Lex loves Camille! I know this because she share videos as she’s walking into my place with Lex greeting her and falling at her feet when she enters. She communicates well when she won’t be available to visit at her standard time. She’s also gone as far as cleaning up after him when he gets mischievous lol

I can’t recommend Camille enough! She took such amazing care of my cat, Carl, while I was away. From the daily updates (with the cutest photos!) to the extra attention she gave to make sure he felt comfortable and happy. I came home to a relaxed, well-fed, and very content kitty—which says everything. On top of that, she was very reliable and communicative. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable, Camille is the one. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Her engagement with myself and Lex makes me comfortable with maintaining her as my go to for Lex’s care. Camille was probably the best cat siter I’ve had! Her love and care for cats showed and my shy babies instantly felt comfortable with her. I love that she sent me a video each time she arrived and departed the house. The best thing about Camille was watching her play and engage with the cats on camera. I feel guilty leaving me cats, but watching them play and have fun while I was gone let me know they were ok and in good hands. I highly recommend!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

New York cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
