I've been a cat person for as long as I remember -- I was born into a household with 3 cats, and have owned cats up until about 3 years ago. I grew up feeding my kitties, changing & cleaning their litter, and of course, giving them as much love as possible.

I moved to NYC from Connecticut almost 5 years ago, and REALLY miss having a furry companion of my own. As I live up to the "broke girl in her 20s" trope, I'm unfortunately not in the financial situation to own one myself (yet). Enter: kitty sitting! Hey! I’m Molli!

I've been a cat person for as long as I remember -- I was born into a household with 3 cats, and have owned cats up until about 3 years ago. I grew up feeding my kitties, changing & cleaning their litter, and of course, giving them as much love as possible.

I moved to NYC from Connecticut almost 5 years ago, and REALLY miss having a furry companion of my own. As I live up to the "broke girl in her 20s" trope, I'm unfortunately not in the financial situation to own one myself (yet). Enter: kitty sitting! I knew this opportunity would be the perfect balance of getting some valuable pet therapy, offering a helping hand to busy New Yorkers, and making a little extra change along the way.

Not only have I owned and cared for my own cats for numerous years, but have recurring pet sitting experiences for neighbors & friends. Happy to provide references from cat owners I've sat for, if desired!

I work full-time Monday thru Friday as a television producer at NBC (typically 9am to 6pm) but can easily can drop-in before or after work anytime -- I'm super flexible! I’m available for overnight visits any day during the week. Weekends are usually wide open for me, so happy to book drop-ins/overnights then, too.

I live in Chelsea and am happy to commute anywhere necessary in Manhattan & surrounding burroughs. Whatever is needed, I'm happy to do it!

I’m vaccinated / boosted for COVID-19, and will take all precautions necessary to keep your furry friends (and YOU) safe!

This is the third time I’ve booked Molli and she’s always fantastic! Molli even noticed Lillie’s had bloomed in a bouquet of flowers I had and threw them out for me because they’re toxic to cats. I will continue booking her!

Molli was SO wonderful to work with! She must be magic because my very shy and sweet tabby girl normally runs away with visitors, but she loved Molli! It made me feel so comfortable being away. Molli also took my booking on very short notice which I appreciate. She gave me detailed updates and lots of photos. I will absolutely book again!

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

New York cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
