My name is Victoria and I’m always looking for opportunities to meet more furry angels! I grew up around cats and currently have 2 boys myself: Ryu and Yoshi. Having grown up with all types of animals (mainly cats and dogs), I’ve always had a strong connection with furry friends. Growing up, I’d always try to bring stray cats home - and luckily my parents let me keep some of them! I’ve always loved how every cat has their own very distinct personality and little quirks, even more apparent than dogs perhaps (shh… don’t tell the dog. people lol). It all comes down to matching their energy!
I’m originally from San Francisco. But as of 2023, I’ve been living in NYC for 10 years now! One of my favorite things about the city is the Bodega Cat culture! I love how everyone just knows and respects that that’s their home.
Outside of cat sitting, I am a construction project manager full-time. Throughout the week, I bounce around from sites, field offices, and some days I WFH - I’m quite flexible during evenings as well as early mornings.
I’ve used Meowtel myself to find cat sitters for my boys, so I understand how important trust and communication are when selecting a sitter. Rest assured, your fur babies will be in great hands with me! I look forward to chatting more and getting to know your kitties!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat sitting since I was a teenager and I’ve been cat sitting for Meowtel specifically since November 2023. I have experience with cats with feline asthma.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
As a cat owner myself, I completely understand how nerve-wracking it can be leaving your fur babies behind when you leave for a trip. I’m happy I get to give owners some peace of mind and I also just enjoy building relationships with new kitties, giving them comfort and something to look forward to until their mom/dad returns.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Ask as many questions as you want. We are here to make your lives easier. Also, if you have a strict routine for your cats, don’t be shy to print out a whole list of instructions! I do that myself when I go out of town. And as a cat sitter, I find it very helpful as I can check tasks off of a list.

This was our first time booking Victoria, and it was also the longest time we’ve ever been apart from our cat, Frankie so it definitely felt like a risk but it was absolutely worth the reward. Victoria kept us consistently updated on Frankie’s eating, playing, litter box, and overall well-being, along with lots of photos that gave us so much peace of mind. She was also flexible and open to working with us to adjust both her schedule and Frankie’s routine to best suit his needs during the holiday season, which we truly appreciated. Victoria is a really great cat sitter. Our three have only recently arrived in New York, so still getting used to our apartment and one of them is both elderly and a fussy eater. None of this was an issue for Victoria -- from day one we were getting photos that showed our cats had completely adopted her. They even seemed to be posing for the camera! Victoria went the extra mile with our elderly cat, taking the plate of food upstairs to her if required and checking that she had eaten her meal. Great communication, and we appreciated her keeping the litter trays in good order. Victoria kindly came round for a meet and greet before we left, which was great -- and we were struck by how she asked sensible questions and listened carefully to our answers. She's clearly very experienced, but also as a cat owner and lover, understands that every cat and household is different. We would highly recommend Victoria, and we (and our cats) would be delighted to invite her back to cat sit for us again.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
New York cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!

Victoria did a great job giving our cat Gremlin his inhaler and went above and beyond getting our shy cat Filbert to eat. This was my first time getting a professional catsitter for my Mai Tai and Victoria was absolutely a life saver. I was so relieved to have found her as she was so quick to respond and was so friendly and easy to work with.
