Cat Sitting in New York, NY

Hi there! As a lifelong cat lover, I bring 4+ years of professional experience caring for kitties of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I've had the joy of looking after cats with asthma, kidney disease, and even those recovering from chemo and surgery, so I understand the importance of gentle, attentive care. I'm also certified in Pet CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross, so you can rest assured that your cat is in safe hands... I'm also certified in Pet CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross, so you can rest assured that your cat is in safe hands.

I'm comfortable preparing special diets, administering asthma inhalers, giving pills/ liquid meds/ insulin injections, and applying ointments to the eyes and ears. I'm also happy to offer extra services upon request, like brushing hair, trimming nails, and emptying the Litter Robot—just let me know what your kitty needs!

Please note: I’m unable to accommodate housesitting requests that require constant care (ie: pets that can’t be left alone for at least 4–6 hours). I strive to provide attentive care while also balancing time for other responsibilities between visits.

Learn More About Chloe

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been a professional cat sitter for 4 years! I initially started cat sitting while I was between jobs, but I quickly realized how much I loved it, and it has since become my full-time career.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I love most about this work is building long-term relationships with both clients and their cats. Since I can’t have a cat of my own at the moment, caring for other people’s cats brings me a lot of joy and fulfillment!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

Every cat is wonderfully unique! Understanding your pet’s routine, quirks, and favorite activities allows me to tailor each visit to their preferences. I’m excited to meet you and your furry friend(s)!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I know how important it is for you to feel confident that your kitty is in safe, loving hands. I’ll provide regular photo and video updates, so you’ll never miss a moment! Whether your cat is a snuggle bug or enjoys quiet companionship, I’m here to ensure they feel happy and cared for while you’re away.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Outside of pet sitting, I’m a small business owner with a flexible work-from-home schedule. This allows me to accommodate a variety of visit times and care for your kitty during all major US holidays.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I never force interaction with timid or anxious cats. I focus on meeting their basic needs first — food, water, and litter box care — and allow them to warm up at their own pace. I use a calm voice, move slowly, and offer treats (if appropriate). Sometimes simply sitting quietly for the duration of the visit helps build trust. Maintaining the cat’s routine is key, and over time this approach usually leads to progress.

Chloe was the absolute best! This was my first time leaving my cat with a sitter, and Chloe was so communicative, sent tons of pictures, and maintained my cats routine with her meds and supplements. I even got a gift from Chloe of a super cute Polaroid of my cat in a frame! would highly recommend Chloe to anyone’s furry friends.

My second time to have Chloe take care of my angels and she did a great job, as usual. She kept the litter and feeding area clean, updated me constantly with details, and kept my two cats as stress free as possible. Chloe did the impossible - she got my very choosy and grumpy Nala to pet her! Chloe is a true cat person!

I needed a cat sitter two days prior to our leaving on a short trip because the person I had asked to watch our kitty never got in touch with me. I found the Meowtel site and it sounded perfect so I looked to see which sitter was closest to my address. Chloe was one and I reached out, after opening an account, and she responded immediately. We arranged the meet & greet for that evening and she arrived right on time. She stayed in touch with me every time she visited our kitty. We laughed at every picture she took during her visits and commiserated when our kitty wouldn't give her the time of day. We were so impressed with the service Chloe provided that we've already requested her services again in a couple of months. I highly recommend Chloe as a cat sitter. She took the time to include us in her visits which gave us extreme peace of mind.

Chloe is a fantastic and professional catsitter! She took excellent care of my 3 cats, even/especially the skittish and fearful one who needs an inhaler twice a day. I will absolutely be booking with her again!

This was my second time using Chloe to cat sit my cat and it was just as amazing as the first time! She was so communicative, took great care of my cat, and even cleaned all of my cats bowls so I didn’t have to when I got home. Could not recommend Chloe enough!

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

New York cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
