Cats are my safe place. I was born and raised in NYC with cats for 15+ years. I love being around cats and watching their eyes glow when they get ready to attack some food or toys. My favorite thing is when their ears tuck in and they go into airplane mode. My goal is to give a cat as much enrichment or space as needed! I've owned 2 cats so far, Joy, an orange tabby prankster, and Luffy, a Siberian who is now becoming 2 years old soon! Joy was 13 years of independence with lots of energy to run and play. He was shy to new people and always would hide when guests came over. Not too many pets or else you'll get the claw! He taught me that everyone needs space. We hired Kazuo and gave instructions to mostly just play and give our cat a treat. Food, water, and the litter box is automated so the rest wasn’t an issue. For 10 minutes of the 20 minute service Kazuo went looking around the apartment and our storage closet. The only thing he needed were toys that were out already and cat nip which we showed him the exact placement of in the closet. During the time Kazuo was at the apartment we also texted to remind him to play with the cat, our main purpose for hire, which he did while focusing on the TV the whole time. Overall the 20 min of his services felt invasive and low effort in terms of engagement with the cat.

Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
