What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

Take as many notes as I can to make sure nothing gets forgotten. Survey the house, meet the cats, and talk about expectations as your sitter. My experience with your cats will be very different from your own, so making sure I can closely replicate, and create the safest environment you have with your furry friends is important to me.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Making sure to be careful when entering and exiting. Ensuring all exit points such as windows are secure. Checking all edible or chewable items left out are safe. Making sure any places cats can get stuck are sealed off.

What is your favorite cat toy?

The feather wand. It’s fun to see cats become little acrobats

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I myself have a scaredy cat. Patience above everything with these type of cats is key. Moving slowly and calmly to keep them relaxed, and learning their hiding spots so I know where I can check up on them.

Danny is a wonderful cat sitter. she took such good care of Fred and rei for us while we were out the whole month. she even helped us get some deliveries in the house when she dropped by. she kept the house perfectly clean where she helped to clean up and vacuum as the cats sometimes make a mess. thank you so much for your purrfect cat sitter

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
