I have a hands-off approach until invited. One thing I think people don’t realize about cats is how unique their personalities are- from hissers to hiders to cuddlers, I love and respect them all!
I am a quick learner so am not opposed to helping manage your cats medical needs, as needed. I have been a pet sitter for years and am well versed in navigating personalities as well. I am a get-to-know you sitter and will have whatever relationship the feisty (or not so feisty) feline prefers.
Bonus- also a green thumb. I am more than happy to water your plants while away!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
My experience with cat sitting comes from sitting family, friends, and neighbors cats. I have been cat sitting for 3 years.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy feline personalities. They are all different and I respect them all. I’m happy to pet and love on a cuddler and give space to the shy cat. It’s fun to hear about a cat from the owner and experience the personality myself.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I don’t have a favorite reservation. I love every reservation I have had and will have in the future. What I can say is that when a shy kitty finally approaches me - I feel an instant connection. And when an unfriendly kitty finally begins to purr and face rubs my hand - I know we’re going to be besties.

Maigan is perfect. I could not ask for a better person to take care of my babies when I am out of town than her. I was able to relax on my vacation without worrying about my cats for the first time in 15 years... as a helicopter mom this is been darn near impossible to this point. She goes above and beyond to care for your fur babies and your home in your absence. Do yourself a favor and hire Maigan the next time you are away. She is worth her weight in gold.

Maigan is the only one I trust my cat Elliott with. It’s been so hard to find someone reliable to take care of my fur baby when I’m traveling for work. That was until I found Maigan. She really has bonded with Elliott, who is usually avoidant of anyone but me. However, she was able to get him to come out of his shell. In the past when I was away, he would cry and stop eating. With Maigan, it’s like he doesn’t even miss me, ha! I’m so lucky to have her as my cat sitter and I recommend her to all my friends.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
