What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

My first set of cat sitting jobs were in 2006. My clients included mutli-cat households, special needs kitties, and some very shy, semi-feral babies. I even had a client with two very shy cats who were trained to use the toilet. I'd go there to flush the toilet, make sure the auto feeder and water fountains were in order, and then bounce (since the cats were scared, the client didn't want me trying to interact with them). Each job was very different from the previous one, and it kept things interesting.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

It's an extension of my life's mission. I already do this work every day of my life - sharing my love and experience helps to further enrich my community.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Right now, I have over 50 cats as part of my rescue. Some are permanent residents and will never be adopted due to being feral, senior citizens, or having a disability, so I'll just name them so the list won't be too long. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
