What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I grew up on a 500 acre cattle farm and have been around animals all my life helping feed and take care of them. I've volunteered at shelters to take pictures or share pictures online to help them find homes, and I've been petsitting since 2001.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I love ALL of my cat clients, but one of my favorites is Miso, a beautiful Torbico who captured my heart immediately. From our very first visit she trusted me, which is always such an honor with cats. After threading herself through my ankles before dinner, she will often climb into my lap and settle in to watch a show with me. Her Mom often jokes that Miso might like me more, but I see it as a sign that she feels safe and secure while her Mom is away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Feral Fawcett who I'm pictured with, tuxedo Jake Kittenhaal, Yolandi (yoli siamese) & ninja (tuxedo-from Die Antwoord), Medusa and CleoCatra.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes I am available during major holidays and understand how important reliable, stress-free, loving cat care is during travel seasons.

What is your favorite cat toy?

It would have to be a laser pointer. I think most cats enjoy playing with this toy and it can be a good form of exercise for your cat as well as a fun bonding activity

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I approach timid or anxious cats with patience, quiet energy, and respect for boundaries. I move slowly, avoid direct staring, and a low the cat to initiate interaction, I maintain consistent routines, speak softly, and use positive reinforcement (churrus work well too). My background in feline behavior and nutrition is n helps me recognize subtle stress signals and adjust accordingly.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
