I am Dani-By day, I am a full-time geriatric social worker working traditional hours (though we end a bit early on Friday afternoons around 3:30pm). I volunteered at a cat shelter on the East Coast for years before moving. I am also a cat mom to 3 special needs cats. The best way to describe my experience is tell you about the three: Eva: my first cat, the very first thing I got after moving out post college. She's a 13 year old queen. Eva got injection-related osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in 2017 and required an amputation, 5 rounds of IV, chemo, 1.5 years of maintenance chemo (administered by me at home). Eva was officially discharged from oncology in 2020 and has had no health problems since-not even a dental. Severus: my long-haired Maine Coon mix boy. Not the brightest crayon in the box, but he is a sweet lad. He was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM-heart murmur) related to his breed. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
