I know how hard it is to find ... Hi! I’m a lifelong cat lover with two rescues of my own—raised from tiny foster kittens into healthy, spoiled adults. Over the years, I’ve cared for cats of all temperaments: shy hiders, affectionate lap-seekers, senior snoozers, and those who need daily meds (oral or topical). I always take the time to learn your cat’s routine, quirks, and comfort zones, and I follow care instructions closely.
I know how hard it is to find a true cat person—someone who understands the intricacies of feline care, respects their space, and actually enjoys their company. As someone with a flexible, mostly remote job, I have the time to offer quality visits during the week and will never treat your cat like an afterthought. My goal is always to be the sitter I would want for my own cats: patient, reliable, attentive, and full of genuine love for your furry friend.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to know each cat’s unique personality and slowly earning their trust. I love the quiet bonding moments—whether it’s through play, treats, or just sitting nearby—when they finally choose to come closer.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have two kitties, Miki and Miko—sisters from the same litter who I raised from tiny foster kittens. They’re now a little over two years old and have totally different personalities. Miki is the social butterfly who loves everyone she meets and wants to be part of everything. Miko is more anxious and shy at first, but once she trusts you, she turns into the sweetest, most loyal little love bug. Earning her affection has been so rewarding—and it’s a big part of why I love caring for all kinds of cat personalities.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I start with a complementary meet and greet to go over the kitty’s routine, and any specific instructions the cat parent may have for me either for their kitties or for their home. The cat parent can reach out to me anytime if anything comes up, and I’ll make sure to be quick and responsive. I will send daily photos and updates, and flag any issues that may come up as well!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I carefully follow all instructions from the owner, double-check doors and windows, and keep a close eye on the cat’s behavior and environment. I’m respectful of the home (leave no trace), lock up securely, and make sure the cat is safe and comfortable before I leave. I also keep communication open with the owner, sending updates and reporting anything unusual right away.

Melody was incredible. She was reliable, communicative and very caring to my my cat Sophie. She sent multiple photos each day. Sophie is picky with who she likes and can be difficult with medication. Melody didn't let that stop her. She tried multiple ways to get Sophie to take her meds until she found something that worked. That means the WORLD to me that she didn't give up. I came home to a happy cat who wasn't sick. That didn't happen last time so we will be sticking with Melody!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
