Over the past two years, I successfully domesticated a feral tuxedo cat, slowly earning her trust through patience, consistency, and compassion. She now allows me to hold, pet, and shower her with the love she once resisted. I hope to build that same trust and give the same devoted care to your feline loved ones!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy learning from them the most. Each animal has a different personality and learning lesson that have really enlightened me. I also love their unconditional love!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a cat named Senorita Gomez. She was previously a feral cat and I transitioned her indoors. Shes a tuxedo and a sweet angel (don’t we all think that though 😻)
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
My former feral kitty is an anxious little thing, so timid kitties are my specialty. I give them space and patience, allowing them to approach me when they are ready while also talking to them sweetly and encouraging them to trust me.

Lisa is the best! Our poor kitty needed emergency treatment while we were out of town and Lisa cleared her schedule and stepped up to take our girl to the emergency vet, picked up and administered her medicine and spent extra time making sure she was settled back at home. We are so very thankful!

Lisa is the best! She was so attentive, noticed whenever there was something astray in our house (window not closed properly, cat throw up in a corner). She sent a bunch of photos from every visit and let us know how the cats were feeling about her. She also was able to give one of our cats his medicine. If you're a person anxious to be away from their babies, Lisa is the one to hire :).

I can't recommend Lisa highly enough! My ex-boyfriend always watched my two cats, Cosmo and Beverly Leslie, when I traveled, so this was my first time trusting someone new to care for my boys. I was honestly a little nervous, but Lisa completely put my mind at ease from day one. She went above and beyond in every way. She was incredibly attentive, sent frequent updates and photos AND videos, and treated my cats like they were her own. The best part was seeing how quickly Cosmo and Beverly Leslie fell in love with her. The only "problem" was that they both competed for her attention every visit. hahaaha! It made such a difference knowing my babies were happy, loved, and so well cared for while I was out of town. I am beyond grateful to Lisa for everything she did, and I will DEFINITELY be booking her again. Lisa saved the day when I had to unexpectedly be away from home, my two kitties, and one sweet ginger guest. The latter had an eye issue and Lisa administered eye drops and gave him lots of extra love and attention. She is very cheerful, caring, and accommodating to your requests. She also helped keep the kitty areas tidy and safe while I was away. My highest recommendations for Lisa! And thanks for being reliable go-to for catsitters, Meowtel!

She took the time to get to know each of my boys and their likes//dislikes to ensure they had the most comfortable and enjoyable expierence while I was away. Not only that, but she ensured all was cleaned and tidy for them and that was much appreciated. Lisa is a great communicator and I enjoyed the photos and detailed updates she sent. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Lisa is a fabulous sitter! She was extremely kind, gentle, and patient with my extremely shy kitty. Despite being shy, Lisa continued to engage her while still being respectful of her boundaries. Towards the end of the booking, my kitty started warming up to her. Lisa would send photos with detailed updates of how my little girl was doing. I would definitely recommend booking her for your cat care needs!
