What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been a caregiver for cats for family and friends my whole life. Decades of trust from my loved ones. But, I also did pet care professionally with a service for three years with Bon Ami in the San Fernando Valley. While they are no longer in operation, I continue with my whole heart!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Playful or calm, sleepy or mischievous, I just think life is better around cats. The fact that I can hang out and make sure their lives are better is a joy and an honor! And, for all their humans, I hope I give them tremendous peace of mind!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I once cat sit for a ginger named Bernie and he would join me for my morning yoga. I really looked forward to it because he would stretch and lie on my back. Talk about zen! He kept to himself otherwise but I really loved those mornings together.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Gilda Radner is my senior baby and Kurt Vonnegut Jr. is my best boy, and very much a one year old kitten

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Meet and greets are so helpful! Reading profiles and reviews are wonderful. But, you don’t know if a person will vibe with your kitty until they’re in front of you. Also, it’s your home! I want you to feel as comfortable as possible with me in your space. I always make time for meets and greets before a sit!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I typically schedule a meet and greet where we see if we’re a good fit. We will go over any specifics to your kitty and to your home to keep everyone and everything exactly as you want.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Absolutely no front or back doors will be left open. As an owner of two, including a very fast kitten, I will always be extremely mindful when entering or exiting your home.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes! I love to spend holidays with a new furry friend. But, I book up fast between my kitty and puppy walking clients! So schedule ASAP!

What is your favorite cat toy?

For most kitties you gotta love a ribbon. Great excercise! But, my boy Kurt is the first cat I’ve ever known who plays fetch! So, that blows my mind and is the most fun too!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Patience. Cats who are shy just need time. A calm and welcoming presence shows they are safe. And, if need be, a treat can be offered to break the ice!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
