Hi, I'm Emily Joy and my life revolves around cats! I worked at a vet clinic in South Austin for 5 years. I am tech trained! I transitioned to be a full-time pet sitter in October 2022 so thank you so much for considering me! I have 6 cats of my own and foster frequently for Austin Pets Alive and Austin Siamese Rescue. Prefer South Austin area, but willing to commute if it seems like the right fit. I typically spend closer to 30 minutes versus a 20 minute visit as long as the kitty is enjoying my company and my schedule allows. I am fully vaccinated and am available anytime. I have been pet sitting for extra income for many years and can provide great references. I once pet sit for a 19 year old cat for a whole month providing 2 visits a day and subcutaneous fluids once a day. The owner had to leave the country and was so happy that I was available for her. Luckily, the kitty did fine while mom was away and I really enjoyed spending that time with her. I will provide photos and updates for each visit. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation
and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any
earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation
rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their
Gift Card Balance
if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the
reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50%
of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48
hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and
the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
