Hi, I'm Essence, a full-time cat sitter who loves cats deeply. I have grown up with cats since I was 12 years old. My first cat ever was a stray looking for a home. I took her home and told my mom I was keeping her. Later found out that she was pregnant with two kittens. I named them Tom and Jerry, and man, did they grow it to their names. Since then, I've had cats of many different personalities, characters, and health concerns, but that has never scared me away. The most recent fur baby was Flick. He was a rescue and was the best truck baby I had. We had a lot of road trips, went across states, and even had hiking trips for most of his life. Flick even had his own harness and backpack when he gets tired of walking. Eventually, he became a homebody due to age, but that didn't stop him from being a goofball. After some time, I understood that Flick needed a more stable permanent home, and with my job at the time, I was not fit for him and his health. Flick was given to a lovely lady working from home who loved taking naps. I will admit getting pictures and updates are the highlight of my day, but I will do anything to give him the life he deserves. Plus, they genuinely are purrfect for each other. Since Flick, I haven't gotten another fur baby. With a lot of hard work, I'll be able to get off the road and find a lovely home to welcome even more fur babies. I am here. I understand your baby's importance to you, and picking the right sitter is scary. Rest assured. I know that it takes patience, time, and understanding to build a healthy relationship. Not all cats are welcoming to strangers, and that's ok. I make it a point to let your fur babies come to me when ready for all the love I want to give them. Other times they are very playful and willing to take on the world; my goal is to tire them out. While some want to relax in peace, I'll be there to keep them company. Your fur baby's well-being is my top priority. My strong suit is to keep a clean environment, stay healthy, and be observant. I myself am fully vaccinated. Yes, I will admit I am paranoid when it comes to caring for all types of animals, but they are the definition of our happing place, and I will go over and beyond to make sure they stay safe, healthy, and happy.
