I come to cat sitting with a lifelong passion and 20 years of cat-care expertise. My journey in professional cat care started by assisting my mother in her thriving pet-sitting business in Iowa. Leveraging this experience, I smoothly transitioned into offering specialized cat sitting services for the benefit of both family and friends. Today I share my professional cat-sitting services with the Denver community.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love meeting new furry friends and their paw-rents. Being a cat owner myself, I also understand the anxiety of leaving your furry friend at home. Cat sitting provides an opportunity to empathize with other pet owners and offer reassurance by ensuring their cats receive the same care and affection I'd want for my own, in addition to returning to a clean home.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite cat sitting reservation was with Milo. I've known him since he was a kitten, but during my first kitty-sitting experience with him, something magical happened. Milo really came out of his shell, and we bonded in a way I hadn't expected. He showered me with kisses and snuggles, and it felt like we truly understood each other. It was such a heartwarming experience to see him trust me so completely, and it made the time spent together even more special. Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I do! My fur-babies are Ashoka and Aurelian. Ashoka was named after a unique diamond cut and is a 3 year old female Siberian Forest Cat. Aurelian is 1 year old snow mink Bengal kitten. My partner and I both have “A” names, so we have kept the theme going with our cats’ names.

I like to be patient and let shy or anxious cats come to me. Once they see I’m there to be their friend, they curiously approach. 😸

First, I would like to start this review by saying I’m a helicopter cat mom and get really anxious when I have to leave town. Alexandra did so amazing I ended up rebooking her! I was on a completely flipped schedule, and she replied promptly to my responses on Meowtel. I’ve experienced some not so great babysitters, and she was literally a breath of fresh air. I could not be happier with Alexandria's services! Sometimes when I come home from a trip, my kitty is anxious, and it's clear the level of love and play was not up to par with what you'd expect from a sitter - but this was not the case with Alexandria! Milo was calm and happy to see me, so I know she did a fantastic job spending quality time with him. On top of great photos and detailed updates, she left me a handwritten note as well as a graphic of Milo for me to come home for. I will absolutely be booking her for further trips!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
