What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for a few years now, starting with friends’ cats and gradually expanding to offer my service go the community. My experience began informally in high school, caring of friends’ let’s when they were away. My first official client was a UCLA student who needed someone reliable to care for their cat during a short summer vacation. This experience further solidified my commitment to providing high quality care for cats while their owners are away. I’ve developed a good understanding of various feline needs and behaviors through personal experience and caring for other cats

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most about cat sitting is the opportunity to form unique connections with each cat and ensure their comfort and happiness while their owners are away. There’s something incredibly rewarding about being able to cater to a cats individual personality and needs, whether it’s through playtime, quiet companionship, or simply maintaining their routine. I love seeing the positive impact of my care, how a cat can go from being a bit unsure at the start to showing affection and trust by end of my visit. It’s also fulfilling to know that I’m providing peace of mind for cat parents, knowing their furry friends are in good hands.

Mei was an excellent sitter for my cat, Mimi! Mimi had some extra needs with delivering medication through a syringe on top of regular sitting and Mei handled it perfectly well! Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
