My first catting experience was in 2016 for my friend in college, where I learned how much I loved having a cat and home under my care. Since 2020, I've fostered 7 cats for the Manhattan Animal Care Center, ranging in age and demeanor from playful to lethargic to a spirit cat who needed patient encouragement over months to come out of her shell. This included daily feeding schedules, grooming, and oral and ear medications. I have now adopted and owned a cat for over a year, who I love very much. I believe cats need play time and affection every day. I'm happy to use whatever strings, feathers, or other toys that they like during my stay, as well as take the time to learn where they like to be pet and scratched. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
